Don’t ever, ever attempt to remove
wallpaper, unless it the easy kind that peels off in huge sheets. If it’s
well-glued, you’ll need extra patience to scrape-scrape-scrape away at the
little, bitty pieces. This week I scrapped off a section of one wall and it felt like a
like a major project. I can’t imagine how it would have felt to scrap off an
entire room. Unless you’re a handy do-it-yourselfer, forget attempting the big, difficult
projects on your own. Hire a professional—but that’s just me—and maybe these people:
We all have different skill sets.
There’s nothing wrong with branching out into new territory now and then, just
know your limitations. What have you tried on your own, but later decided to
bring in someone who could truly handle the task?
